Over a pint of spirits
Ow, my carapace (and liver, head etc…)!
What a weekend… we spent most of the time drunk, this is true, but whether we were boxered or not, the banter was of a sterling quality, and consistently so throughout the stay. It all started on the train up with a few beers, then a few more in the bar at York station, then another on the train to Scarborough, and many more at Nay’s. This really set the tone for the weekend…
Some highlights:
- Scarborough’s night life. A club called "Boleyn’s", which appeared to have some connection to Anne Boleyn… frighteningly like "Henry the Eighth’s" in The Office. I’ve never seen so many scrubbers in all my days.
- Mikey "The People’s Champion" Segal and his late night bathing in the North Sea. Astounding.
- The drinking games.
- A hideous orange woman with painted-on eyebrows. Her skirt blew up revealing what can only be described as the world’s most sickening derrière.
- Nay’s lovely warm flat and liberal attitude towards orgiastic gatherings. Homely.
Check out the photo album for more fun. I’m so tired…
